Eligibility Requirements For AFCAT Exam

• Nationality: Candidates must have indian citizenship (Nationality)
• Age Limit & Marital Status

• Aspiring Candidates below 25 years are eligible (Unmarried candidates are allowed)
• Widows/widowers as well as Divorcees(below 25 years) are not eligible for AFCAT.
• Married (above 25 years) are eligible. Whereas, the married aspiring candidates will not be provided with separate facilities for their spouses.
• Unmarried candidates will not be allowed to get married during Air Force Officer training, if they get married, they will be eliminated from the training.
• The Aspirant (mainly for NCC Special Entry & Flying Branch through AFCAT) must be between the age group of 20-24 years as of July 1, 2024. Whereas Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch must be between the age group of 20-26 years as of July 1, 2024.

• Educational Qualification

• The aspirant must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics (50% marks) with a minimum of four years degree integrated post-graduation/graduation in Technology/ Engineering from a recognised university.
